Hi Elaine,

Thank you very much for offering to help us with the infant hat effort. My wife and I started the non-profit, A Child's Light, in June 2011. My six-month old grandson was the victim of shaken baby syndrome in June 2005 and died as the result of his injuries. He is the inspiration and the drive of the non-profit. We currently have about 70 people helping us knit the purple infant caps. The caps will be given out to parents of newborns in November and December each year along with education about Shaken Baby Syndrome/Abusive Head Trauma.
